This 1850s brownstone located in Philadelphia is full of incredible carved woodwork, high ceilings, stained glass windows, and exquisite architectural details.
The goal was to renovate and relocate all bathrooms, update and refinish existing materials and lighting, and expand a rather small kitchen.
We were able to make the kitchen almost twice the size by relocating the existing powder room and existing stair leading up to the basement. New large kitchen window now overlooks a freshly designed back yard.
We replaced existing dark, heavy tones, and patterns with light and bright colors to bring out the beauty of the existing woodwork.
Limewash walls, new natural stone accents throughout the house, all new lighting and furnishings elevate this house to a timeless and chic interior.
